Foundations for your future

Whether you’re a local builder or homeowner, there’s a team on your doorstep who’ll work with you and advise you, every step of the way.  We’ll make sure your building is built on foundations that stand the test of time.

Our Approach

01.

Supply Your Architects Plans

We need to know what type of building your foundations must support. This helps us to work out what type of foundations you’ll need. If you have architects drawings you’ll need to give us a copy.

02.

Get Planning Permission

Often you’ll need planning permission for new building work including extensions and conservatories. If you’re not sure, contact your local authority before starting work.

03.

Check The Party Wall Act 1996

If your building work is adjacent to a party wall or boundary, you must inform the owner of the adjoining properties before starting work. The Party Wall Act protects you and your neighbours during any home improvements. Ask your architect or project manager for advice.

04.

Arrange A Ground Report

It’s best practice to test the land and soil type before starting work. If you haven’t already arranged a ground report, we can help you get one sorted.

05.

Design The Right Foundations

Our in-house team design your foundations and provide the drawings and structural calculations you’ll need for Local Authority approval. Our qualified engineers will advise on the right approach for your job to save you time and money.

06.

Provide Specialist Equipment & Knowledge

Maybe you have restricted access or need to minimise noise, disruption and pollution. If so, our engineers will select the appropriate specialist equipment from our large range of piling rigs to ensure the most cost effective solution.

07.

Quote For Work

Once we’ve identified the right solution for your project, you’ll receive our quote. As a specialist piling contractor, we’re small enough to provide outstanding value and big enough to offer in-depth expertise on a range of services.

07.

Ensure Your Piling Works Satisfy Building Regulations

We’ll work with you to ensure that your piles are installed on time and to budget. We provide any necessary installation information including pile logs to ensure your project meets building control regulations. Pile testing is available at an additional cost, should it be required.

08.

Provide An Insurance Backed Guarantee

We carry comprehensive insurance cover against defective works and are able to provide an insurance-backed 15-year guarantee on our works.
